As New Zealanders grow older, it's inevitable that more people will need help to deal with the devastating effects of dementia.
Fortunately, Alzheimers NZ is here to help take the strain and provide practical support to people living with the condition, as well as their carers and family.
We're keen to help too. So in February 2009, we played a major role in raising over $120,000 for Alzheimers Auckland at our annual charity golf tournament. This event has been running successfully for over seven years now, in association with Rotary Club of Parnell, raising close to $600,000 in total.
We also supported Alzheimers NZ's "Cuppa For A Cause" Appeal, by donating 20 cents from the sale of every pack of Signature Range coffee, Select tea and Fresh Zone lamingtons during July 2008 and 2009.
